Establishment of this university was inaugurated on November 20, 2006. The focus of education is in the field of information and communication technology (ICT).

UMN was founded by the Kompas Gramedia Group, a leading business group working in the field of mass media, publishing, printing, bookstore hotel and education services. As a founder, Kompas Gramedia support UMN not only in terms of providing physical infrastructure but also of teachers and facilities internships for students.

• Fluent in English, experience in teaching at university
