PRODUCT ENGINEER I

Core Accountabilities
- Works in cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and improve existing production processes.
- Participates in defining and documenting procedures for all aspects of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Designs, coordinates and documents trial runs of product.
- Assists in the design and testing of new equipment.
- Provides support to more senior engineers.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a footwear technical position (manufacturing, chemical, industrial or mechanical engineering) experience preferred.
- Major in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering fields in College is preferred.
- Demonstrated depth of knowledge of footwear upper/pattern and tooling engineering process, production and R&D processes.
- General knowledge of last engineering and footwear construction is preferred.
- Proficient in English both spoken and written.
Core Accountabilities
- Plans and co-ordinates the national and international movement of goods
- Ensures that goods loading and transportation processing is handled on time and in line with customer needs
- Coordinates and leads the work of external providers
- Has solid knowledge of national and international transportation policies and practices
- Obtain full Knowledge in Operations system, especially SAP module for Inbound / Outbound / Inventory.
- Be center of excellence / specialist in LA and 3PL system operations for Indonesia.
- Be point of contact representative for Indonesia to SEA and other territory for Operations BSA and LA (Inb/Outb/3PL) matter
- Manage compliance with government regulations.
- Bachelor degree
- Team player, energetic, service-oriented and able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Meticulous and well organized
- Able to multi task, work well under pressure and deliver within tight timeline
- Customer oriented and focus
- 2 years of relevant experience.
Core Accountabilities
- Visit contracted factories and collect all relevant technical data on energy consuming equipment including dye tanks, boilers, motors, air compressors, lighting, etc.
- Process all information utilizing Nike energy toolsets to develop energy and water savings technical brief
- Provide technical brief to Nike energy and co2 manager for review and further analysis
- Ensure high standard for investment decisions and performance management of the energy investments
- Work with factories and vendors to create process energy maps. Work with vendors to produce energy savings option matrix with potential options and resulting ROI.
- Ensure new technology meets ROI standards with a bias for proven technology.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering from an Accredited University
- 5+ years of relevant experience with manufacturing environment will be preferred.
- Broad understanding in leading change utilizing lean principles.
- Experience in implementation of sustainability program and consulting skills/Factory engagement expertize.
- Experience working in cross functional environment.
- Lead and build capabilities in PDCA problem solving
- Drive strategy deployment at factory level.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a team player and have sound judgment and analytical abilities.
