Team Leader, Finance & Account
Leading a team of three, the role holder will be responsible for managing financial reporting processes as well as overseeing the treasury, internal controls, AP & AR functions. The Team Leader will also responsible for budget preparation processes and monitoring, Joint Interest Billing, Cash Call Statement as well as perform analysis on the expenditure and prepares financial package to Finance Manager.
Key Accountabilities :
- Overseeing timely and accurate financial accounting month end process and the financial reporting submission to Head Office, Partners and BPMIGAS.
- Implementation of updates to IFRS, group accounting policies and related laws & regulations changes.
- Liaison with various stakeholders, internal and external including managers, contractors, auditors, Government.
- Cash flow forecasting and management.
- Ensuring streamlined accounts payable processes closely integrated with Procurement requirements.
- Management accounts receivable and in particular relationships and requirements for intercompany and related entities.
- Management annual budget preparation and AFE controls.
- Review and implementation of best practice process improvements.
- Development and implementation of appropriate internal controls and risk management.
- Ownership and review of internal procedures and processes.
- Provision of SAP support for finance team.
- Ensure safety of the visitors in case of emergency. Follow the company”s SSHE policies and regulations in all work under responsibility.
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting
- Minimum 6 years experience in financial / project accounting
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Strong working knowledge of SAP is preferable
- Upstream Oil & Gas experience is highly desirable
Coordinates and performs cost control activities for the Company”s operating projects. The job holder is responsible for recording and checking the expenditure being charged from suppliers. He/She has to ensure sufficient documentation and authorization in place prior to further process of payment and prepares data for monthly cash call, withholding tax and Petroleum Income Tax submission. The job holder also monitors and controls the expenditure to be in line with the approved budget and allocates costs to the appropriate budgeting items as well as performs analysis on the expenditure and prepares report to supervisor and Department Manager.
Key Accountabilities :
- Assist Department Manager (Project Manager) in preparing the annual budget proposal. Monitor and control budget execution to be in line with the approved budget. Recommend Department Manager and staff in terms of budgeting policy and accounting process and procedure.
- Perform the project”s cost control. Check and keep records of all invoices and ensure the conformity of invoice with material and service contracts.
- Prepare of project”s monthly statement of expenditure. Group the costs into the proper budget items. Analyze the variance between the approved budget and actual expenditure.
- Prepare and submit the project”s Monthly Cost Reports to supervisor and Project Team.
- Keep record of all service order, purchase order and contracts in order to report the committed expenditure for management”s proper decision making.
- Prepare documents and data for monthly withholding tax calculation and submission.
- Performs other similar or related duties, as assigned by supervisor. Ensure safety of the visitors in case of emergency. Follow the company”s SSHE policies and regulations in all work under responsibility.

Provides the wide range of legal services to senior management as well as clients across PTTEP and its subsidiaries. Duties cover drafting, reviewing, negotiating and preparing related legal documents and contracts to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations as well as safeguard the company”s interest, providing legal counsel and advice to clients.
Key Accountabilities :
- Negotiate legal and contractual matters with 3rd party on behalf of the Company and provide legal input on complex matters in order to achieve successful outcome of the project
- Draft, review, revise and register legal documents with the authority in order to support PTTEP operations
- Advise all relevant and applicable laws, regulations for new projects and E&P investment in establishing projects/business
- Monitor the registration and legal documents of all PTTEP and its subsidiaries with the authorities in order to support PTTEP operations
- Provide detailed/ ad-hoc advice and guidance to clients on legal matters, based on a full understanding of the matter and including detailing options and consequences, to enable the client to take the optimum legal and commercial decision
- Provide a “help desk” service to clients on a wide range of legal, rules and regulations matters. Keep abreast and study laws and regulations (Indonesia & Foreign) affecting PTTEP and report to the management or concerned functions
- Bachelor Degree in Law
- At least 3 - 5 years experience in practising Law as an attorney in an international firm or multinational company, preferably oil and gas
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Confident, clear and effective communication skills
