PT. Yodya Karya (Persero) was founded in 1948 as a Dutch Company and established in Jakarta under the name of N.V. Job & Sprey. The head office were located in "Jakarta Pusat" and the main activities were designing and supervising of building construction. In 1958 the company was nationalized by the Government of Indonesia and established as a State Owned Company, with the name of P.N. Yodya Karya. Since then the company was controlled and administered by the Ministry of Public Works & Electricity and Ministry of Finance.The whole projects of PT. Yodya Karya would directly be managed within closed coordination by Jakarta Head Office, 10 branches, 4 divisions and should be fully supported by 3 internal bureau. Branches, Divisions and Internal Bureau should apply the board of directors policies to run the projects operation in the field, and should be implemented through the project team (RPT) lead by project team leader/KRPT.
