PT Perkebunan Nusantara XI (Persero) or PTPN XI is a state-owned enterprises (BUMN) engaged in agribusiness plantations with the core business of sugar. PTPN XI established since 1966 is the only state-owned enterprises that seek a single commodity -sugar- with contributions 16-18% of national production. The main business activities of PTPN XI is the production of sugar. Other lines of business are production / manufacture of alcohol and rubbing alcohol from molasses and production of fiber kenaff burlap sacks and plastic bags. PTPN XI also provides medical care services from the General Hospital.
