PT Saka Energi Indonesia (Saka) was formed on June 27, 2011, as the upstream oil and gas subsidiary of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk (PGN), Indonesia’s largest natural gas transportation and distribution company, which is listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). Saka is a company owned 100% by PGN. The purpose and aim of Saka is to carry out upstream business and investment, covering exploration, exploitation and development of oil and natural gas, CBM, and other energy sources.In Indonesia, Saka has already possess 7 (seven) assets scattered in various regions in Indonesia: South East Sumatra PSC 8.9% in the Southeast of Sumatra island, Ketapang PSC 30 % in the north of Madura island, Pangkah PSC 100% in northern Gresik, Muriah PSC 20% in the northern Pangkah PSC, West Bangkanai PSC 30% and Bangkanai PSC 30% in Kalimantan, South Sesulu PSC 100% in northern Balikpapan. In addition, Saka also has an international non-conventional assets Fasken LLC 36% in Texas, USA.
Saka Graduate Program (SGP)
Saka Graduate Program (SGP) offers a challenging opportunity for university graduates to have work experience in oil and gas industry. This 1 year program provides the graduates with development program in the field of Engineering, Business Support, Operator and Technician (O&M).
The Requirements:
- SGP Engineering – S1/S2 in Engineering
- SGP Business – S1/S2 in Economics (Accounting, Finance, Management), Computer Science, Social & Political Science( Communication, Criminology/International Relation/Sociology)
- SGP Operator & Technician – D3 in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Chemical Engineering
- Minimum GPA 3.00
- Maximum 1 year graduation (graduated latest by February 2014)
- Functional related skills and knowledge
- Active in extracurricular activities
- Fluent in English
- Human skills: Learning courage, adaptation, initiative, communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
