Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits at hazardous waste sites and participate in hazardous waste site investigations.
- Carrying out risk assessments and considering how risks could be reduced.
- Keeping records of inspections findings and producing reports that suggest improvements.
- Conduct safety training and education programs, and demonstrate the use of safety equipment.
- Coordinate "right-to-know" programs regarding hazardous chemicals and other substances.
- making changes to working practices that are safe and comply with legislation.
- Advising on a range of specialist areas, e.g. fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases
- Keeping up to date with new legislation and maintaining a working knowledge of all Health and Safety legislation and any developments that affect the employer's industry
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree / Post Graduate Degree, any field.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

- Able to conduct regular supervision of the cleaning, toilet sanitary, landscaping and pest control service providers on a daily basis.
- Manage the service providers to implement rectification of defects within the agreed time frame and specification requirements.
- Implement strategies to protect the health and safety of staff and others, as well as maintaining reputation, and verify business continuity issues.
- Assist in the provision of reports on the quality of services provided by service providers, service levels and cost performance indicators to industry benchmarks. Achieve Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreement targets
- Knowledge of vendor management for specialized services
- Strong budget management and financial analysis skills
