PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) is a strategic operational subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero). PHE is designed to manage and develop portfolios in upstream oil and gas business through various schemes includes Joint Operating Body of Production Sharing Contract (JOB-PSC), Pertamina Participating Interest (PPI), and also other partnerships in operating overseas blocks. Besides developing the upstream business, PHE also expanding into the downstream business, it is proved by the participation of PHE as shareholder in the refinery project managed by PT Donggi Senoro LNG (DSLNG).OIL & GAS
PHE is now operating in 8 Fields of JOB-PSC, Pertamina Participating Interest (PPI) in 17 blocks and 9 overseas blocks (onshore & offshore) in 7 countries. PHE currently has two offshore blocks in which the PHE as the Shareholder and Operator. These two blocks are ONWJ and WMO which is the backbone of PHE production. Before it was acquired by PHE in 2009 for ONWJ and 2011 for WMO, the production of ONWJ block only reached 23,701 BOPD as for WMO block only reached 13,671 BOPD but now the production of these blocks has increased to 32,838 BOPD for ONWJ and 15,300 BOPD for WMO. In the future, PHE will continue developing offshore operations to raise the PHE production target.
COAL BED METHANE (CBM)
From 2008 onwards, PHE has started engaging in Coal Bed Methane (CBM) business by signing the first CBM Production Sharing Contract (PSC) to harness CBM resources in Sangatta, East Kalimantan. In the years to come, PHE will develop more CBM resources in other areas in Kalimantan and South Sumatera. Until January 2012, PHE has established 11 subsidiaries including 4 subsidiaries in Kalimantan and 7 subsidiaries in South Sumatera.

Inspection Engineer

Responsibilities:
- To monitor the field inspection activities for certain equipment (incl. Piping, pressure vessel) and structural in providing insight for recertification and maintenance as well as provide the detailed work scope to ensure the PHE ONWJ business uninterrupted.
- Minimum bachelor degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structure
- Having minimum 5 years experiences in oil & gas facility quality control/inspection/maintenance
- Must have knowledge of:
- Engineering/Technical Inspection
- Oil & Gas engineering & Integrity management principles
- HSSE principles
- Project and Operations
- Must understand & updated knowledge on government regulation related to inspection
- Must be fluent in English (verbal and writing)

Responsibilities:
- To plan and control IMR structural integrity activities, and perform Quality Assurance for existing facilities based on good engineering approach and consistent application of codes, standards, company specifications and regulations in structure discipline to ensure effective and safe operations of ONWJ integrity facilities, obtain platforms recertification and project can run safely, effectively, and timely within quality and cost standards
- Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor degree in Civil/Structure Engineering
- Having minimum Min. 5 year experience in Oil and Gas industry with exposure in offshore structural engineering for Greenfield and Brownfield
- Must have knowledge of:
- Integrity management
- Risk management
- Contract management
- Commercial Analysis
- Must be fluent in English (verbal and writing)
SR. Engineer Production

Responsibilities:
Under Exploitation Department
- To perform detailed evaluation of production opportunities and make coordination in developing plan of well intervention, surveillances, work-over and production optimization activities, in order to achieve oil and gas production target within commercial consideration and budget planned
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering
- Minimum 7 years related experiences in Petroleum or Production Engineering
- Good command in English, both written & speaking
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
