Permata Energy Resources is particularly active in the acquisition, exploration and development of coal mines and coal infrastructure in Indonesia.Currently Permata Energy Resources is the holding company of amongst others, PT. Riau Baraharum (RBH) and PT. Nusantara Termal Coal (NTC). Both RBH and NTC are CCOW companies with operating licenses until 2035 and 2036 respectively. NTC’s mine is at Muara Bungo, Jambi province and has been in production since 2007. Both mines produce coal quality in the range of GAR 5,200 to 5,500.
